We welcomed Hollie Baillieu to the Anvil Media team in February 2015, to strengthen our rural communications portfolio and provide a team member for Canberra and the southeast Australia region known as ‘Capital Country’.

Hollie brings a rich mix of agricultural experience to her role in Anvil Media. She graduated from Charles Sturt University—where she won the Agricultural Science Medal—with hands-on experience working in the viticulture, dairy, alpacas, beef, cotton, sheepmeat and wool industries.

Hollie’s roles in rural communication include chairing both the NSW Young Farmers Council and the National Farmers’ Federation Innovation Committee and helping to coordinate the 2012 Australian Year of the Farmer roadshow, to promote agriculture at schools and events across Australia.

More recently, Hollie has been working in the animal health industry, liaising with farmers, agricultural service providers and pharmaceutical companies.

Based in Yass, Hollie builds on her natural ability to communicate effectively with people throughout the ag sector, from farmers and politicians to key industry influencers.

“The opportunity to work with Anvil encapsulates everything I have been working towards—to communicate, inform and create agricultural stories that reflect the enormous diversity within our ever-changing and exciting industry,” she said.

“My diverse background and interest in every aspect of Australian agriculture gives me a solid basis from which to connect with any business and effectively communicate their needs”.
