Darryl Anderson

Darryl delivers compelling visual media that brings our clients’ communication goals to life. He has the right expertise. He’s produced broadcast TV across metropolitan and regional Australia since 1993, including experience as a news reporter with Network Ten; senior reporter and producer for Australia’s popular rural-affairs program, Cross Country; and a presenter for the Good Taste food television show.

Darryl founded Anvil Media in 2000 to fill the niche for an audio-visual production agency that was approachable and had a particular understanding of the issues faced by those involved in primary production.

“At Anvil Media, we have substantial experience in working with organisations engaged in agriculture and associated industries. We’re also accustomed to working in remote locations throughout Australia and managing the production logistics that go with that.”

Darryl has a strong affinity with country life, coming from a family that’s been farming for generations – from market-gardening on Sydney’s (then) fringe, to inland dairying and broadacre cropping in central west NSW. Darryl holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics from the University of Sydney.

“I really enjoy the variety of our work and developing fresh creative concepts for our clients that are in sync with their communication and marketing strategy,” he says. “I also enjoy all aspects of production planning, hosting and presenting, and seeing the finished product achieve what it is designed to do.”
