Dunnies are not a common theme in our work, but OHS Solutions needed to stand out in a crowded market place. In developing this two-page promotional flyer for its Workers’ Compensation services, flicking through stock photos gave us a strong visual metaphor with some not-so-subtle humour.
The client has a 3-layered service offering leading to reduction of Workers’ Compensation premiums, so there’s a level of detail to their service, and decisions had to be made about how much to include.
Our strategic approach starts with identifying the response we want from the reader – in this case we aimed to have a potential client pick up the phone, or to proceed to the next step of requesting a formal proposal from our client. To achieve that for this kind of service, it wasn’t enough to just deliver the snappy concept; we needed to say enough to establish our client’s credentials.
The key to the design is in the structured arrangement of information matching the way a prospect considers a service provider.
