“But, unless you go for Blu-ray, DVD is limited to standard definition. There’s not the screen real estate in SD for simultaneous display of the presenter video and the slideshow. Slideshow text and details become unreadable if you shrink them to make room for the video.

“So, we often went through this laborious and expensive process of video editing to switch between the presenter and slideshow. The result was pretty unsatisfactory. When the viewer was absorbing the detail of a slide, the picture would often cut to the presenter.”

The solution came with monitor resolution and bandwidth.

“Your computer monitor is much better than standard definition. Heck, even your smartphone’s better than that!” Darryl said.

“I’d searched desperately for a product that would use high resolution to display both presenter and slideshow simultaneously, and deliver the content online.

“Our search considered a couple of expensive products which, while very good, didn’t help us solve the cost issue for our clients.

“In the end we’ve assembled our own combination of authoring technology and hosting,” he said.

Our technology perfectly matches a video presenter or other video clip with presenter slides, including complex PowerPoint objects, animations and transitions. We can insert a video transcription to meet the Australian Government’s web accessibility requirements (WCAG 2.0 Level AA).
