With a short timeframe and limited budget to work with, Anvil Media chose animation to promote an Easter in the Park event.

“Ten different churches from the Burwood area as well as representatives from Burwood Council got together to organise an event to celebrate Easter in the local community,” said the event’s Program Director, Jonathan Abednego. “We wanted a short video we could distribute via local churches and social media to raise Easter in the Park’s profile and to encourage people to come along.”

Jonathan spoke with Anvil Media’s owner and video producer, Darryl Anderson, and met with the team’s graphics editor to explain the brief for the project.

“I was impressed by how quickly Darryl and Bryce understood what we were seeking,” said Jonathan. “The video was produced in about a fortnight and it captured exactly what we wanted.”

Darryl said that animation can be a good choice compared with live filming, particularly when time and budget constraints exist.

“By its nature, organising a day’s filming takes some planning, and there are also several baseline expenses that apply when getting out on location with a crew,” said Darryl. “When we use animation, we eliminate those costs and we can also get underway more quickly.”

Jonathan is very pleased with the completed video. “It gives us a fantastic way to communicate with the public,” he said. “The video has a very clear message and a celebratory feel, which is perfect for our Easter in the Park event.”

Anvil Media has significant expertise in the area of animation and graphics. We would be pleased to discuss how you can communicate important messages through this medium.
