6 awards won for audio-visual productions in agribusiness

Corporate audio-visual productions. That’s what we do.

Regional target audiences. That’s who we know.

Between 2006 and 2009 alone, Anvil Media won six international awards for producing powerful and successful corporate audio-visual productions in the agricultural industry:

  1. 2008 Summit Creative Award – “It all started with an egg”
  2. 2007 Gold Aurora Award – “It all started with an egg”
  3. 2007 Gold Aurora Award – “Jeminex: Onwards & Upwards”
  4. 2007 Summit Creative Award – “Coastcare CSA”
  5. 2008 Bronze Summit International Award – ”Water Down Under”
  6. 2006 AVPA Award – “Wipe-out Plus 1 & 2”

Working in tough climate conditions, travelling to remote areas, managing restrictions in technology and distribution, and at times held to resolutely low budgets, we have produced world-class audio-visual productions that have left judges gobsmacked.

We hope our work does the same for your target audience.

From one Australian to another

Anvil Media’s executive producer and founder, Darryl Anderson, knows how to talk to farmers and primary producers.

His parents will tell you that one of his first words was “tractor”.

Darryl only left his family-owned dairy and broadacre-farm near Dubbo to study a bachelor of agricultural economics at the University of Sydney.

To follow, for most of the 1990s, he was a researcher, reporter, producer and occasional host of Australia’s popular rural affairs program Cross Country.

He also worked as a news reporter in the Channel Ten Sydney newsroom, specialising in rural and environmental stories – when he wasn’t doing important yarns about aliens stealing pets.

In 2000, he established an audio-visual production agency with a difference, recognising the need for a media production agency with an approachable culture and the ability to deliver high production values to rural Australia.

Since 2000, Anvil Media has delivered audio-visual productions and successful media strategies for a Who’s Who of Australian agriculture such as:

  1. Meat and Livestock Australia
  2. Australian Government Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry
  3. Australian Egg Corporation Limited
  4. Cotton Australia
  5. Australian Wool Innovation Limited
  6. Grains Research and Development Corporation
  7. NSW Department of Primary Industries
  8. BASF Crop Protection
  9. Farmoz
  10. Virbac Animal Health
  11. Landmark
  12. Dairy Farmers
  13. Horticulture Australia Limited
  14. Land & Water Australia.

Our corporate audio-video producers understand the rural market has a unique culture that hinges on:

  1. Agriculture, with its modern farming methods and the social fabric of farming families
  2. Industry, where mining and manufacturing are the lifeblood of many regional areas
  3. Community, where local volunteers contribute millions of dollars worth of social capital each year, demonstrating the unparalleled spirit of country Australia.

Understanding these values helps us represent the spirit of Australia in your audio-video production, making the right emotional connection with your audience.
